On September 24th, Alectra’s E-Mobility Group will present best practices for working with utility companies on electrification projects. Through success stories and case studies, our ELC members will have the opportunity to learn about meeting decarbonization goals through electrification. This virtual session will also offer an overview of Alectra’s E-mobility services, emphasizing fleet and facility decarbonization.
A number of organizations are undertaking electrification projects as part of their organizational decarbonization strategies. As electrification progresses, organizations find unanticipated barriers with electricity grid capacity constraints. Whether it is adding electrical capacity to facilities for new EV chargers for an electrified fleet or adding electric boilers, organizations will need to consider how their electrification goals are impacted by the local grid capacity.
Through this session, participants can build an understanding on how to plan and implement electrification projects successfully. After the presentation, there will be general member updates on projects, discussions, and knowledge sharing.
