PPG Members Planted 500 Trees!
On Saturday, May 25th, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Partners in Project Green (PPG) Members met at Paul Coffey Park in Mississauga to participate in PPG’s Spring 2024 Tree Planting event. Despite the rainy weather, 74 PPG members (including TELUS, Hunter Amenities, University Health Network, Maple Leaf Foods, Re by Lisa Tse, Mother Parkers Tea & Coffee Inc. and MScSM students from University of Toronto Mississauga) came out to this event! We worked to plant 500 native trees and shrubs in under 3 hours, contributing significantly to carbon sequestration and biodiversity restoration!
