PPG Members Planted 600 Trees!
This fall, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Partners in Project Green (PPG) members rolled up their sleeves for two tree planting events across the GTA.
On Wednesday, September 25th, 77 PPG members gathered at Gore Meadows in Brampton to plant 400 native trees and shrubs. Just two days later, on Friday, September 27th, 44 members joined us at Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve in Richmond Hill, where they planted an additional 200 trees and shrubs.

In total, our community came together to plant 600 trees and shrubs, contributing to carbon sequestration, biodiversity restoration, and a greener community. These efforts highlight the ongoing commitment of PPG members to environmental sustainability and climate action.
A special thank you to the following organizations for joining us this year: BGO, CD Sonter, City of Mississauga, Dishon Limited, Ecom Logistics, FGF Brands, G&W Electric, Maple Leaf Foods, PCL, Polaris Transport, Region of Peel, SickKids Hospital, TELUS, Toronto Pearson, University Health Network, University of Toronto Mississauga – MScSM program.
