PPG Members Planted 400 Trees!
This fall, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Partners in Project Green (PPG) members brought their muscle to our Brampton tree planting event. On Thursday, October 1st, 52 PPG members gathered at Manitou Park in Brampton to plant 400 native trees and shrubs.
This community experienced the perfect planting day – cool weather and great company to steward their local environment. These efforts ensure biodiversity restoration, carbon sequestration, and a green space to enjoy for years to come. Even with the rocky soil, our PPG members showed their passion and commitment to sustainability and taking care of the land for the next generation.
