As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, join us for a special Member 101 session: Reconciliation in Action, featuring long-standing PPG member TELUS, who has shown ongoing dedication and accountability to Indigenous Reconciliation through their five-year Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan (IRAP).
Note: This is a member exclusive event. Members need to be logged in to view this page. If you are a PPG member and do not have a login, please contact our Membership & Business Engagement Coordinator at julia.kole@trca.ca.
We’re excited to welcome Marissa Nobauer, TELUS’ Director of Reconciliation, Community Engagement and External Relations, to share insights from their IRAP journey. This candid conversation will explore how the IRAP was established and gained internal support, accomplishments and learnings to date, and practical advice for organizations beginning or deepening their own reconciliation efforts.
After the session, the PPG team will provide a compilation of resources our team is using to deepen our understanding of the history, experiences, and perspectives of Indigenous Peoples in Canada. Learning is an important step towards meaningful reconciliation, and we hope these resources provide a starting point for reflection, education, respectful engagement, and action.
#ComeSitWithUs
At Partners in Project Green, we believe in building an inclusive, welcoming community — one where every member feels like they have a seat at the table, even in a virtual space. That’s the heart of our #ComeSitWithUs invitation: we want you to feel part of the conversation, not just an observer. During our Member 101 sessions, we encourage you to keep your cameras on if you’re comfortable, ask questions, share insights in the chat, and connect with your fellow members. This is your community, and your voice makes it richer.
