To kick off Circular Economy Month, we will be joined by Katie Motta (Director, Circulate Procurement) from the Circular Innovation Council (CIC) on October 1 from 12-1pm for an introductory workshop on circular procurement!
Procurement is an underutilized leverage point that organizations are now harnessing to achieve multiple goals – from lifecycle cost savings to carbon & waste reduction to strengthening Canadian value chains. By recovering and enabling reuse, repair and refurbishment of products locally and regionally, circular procurement goes far beyond recycling: it supports procurement goals of ‘total value’. Join this session to learn more about how you can leverage a simple yet powerful circular procurement framework to deliver cost savings, embodied carbon reduction, local job creation and more.
#ComeSitWithUs
At Partners in Project Green, we believe in building an inclusive, welcoming community — one where every member feels like they have a seat at the table, even in a virtual space. That’s the heart of our #ComeSitWithUs invitation: we want you to feel part of the conversation, not just an observer. During our Member 101 sessions, we encourage you to keep your cameras on if you’re comfortable, ask questions, share insights in the chat, and connect with your fellow members. This is your community, and your voice makes it richer.
