PPG’s Energy Leaders Consortium will meet virtually on May 26th for an exciting capacity building session on the Strategic Energy Context, to support stronger decision‑making in an evolving trade landscape.
The conversation around energy and carbon has shifted, and the organizations winning in this environment have noticed.
In a climate of tariffs, trade disruption, and affordability pressure, leading with “decarbonization” creates resistance where you need alignment. Two business imperatives make energy strategy more urgent than ever: reducing operating costs amid price volatility and staying competitive in global markets, where customers and investors expect credible energy performance from their supply chains. The underlying technical work is the same. What’s changed is the business case for doing it and who in the organization needs to hear it.
In this session, Herb Sinnock, Executive Director of CCET and a 30-year practitioner in energy strategy and implementation, will draw on real institutional case studies to show what breakthrough energy performance actually looks like, what organizational conditions make it possible, and how to build the internal readiness to move from commitment to results.
Attendees will leave with a practical diagnostic, a clearer vocabulary for their own C-suite conversations, and a concrete set of next steps. There will be time for Q/A, discussions, and knowledge sharing after the presentation.
