Circular Economy Leaders Consortium (CEC) members are invited to join us on Tuesday June 16th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm for a special webinar showcasing employee engagement and food waste reduction.
The group will first hear about York Region’s waste management plan with a focus on food waste reduction components and alignments with broader regional strategies, highlighting collaboration with internal and external partners. They will also showcase how York Region has integrated food waste into annual waste audits to help inform programming and communications.
Next, the team will hear about the “Beyond the Green Bin” partnership manual and other tools that have been developed by the York Region Food Network to support individuals and organizations in reducing food waste. The tools will highlight how they can be used to build and strengthen the collaborations needed to advance food programming and food waste reduction.
