The Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) is an admission-free, four-acre urban botanical garden and environmental education hub in the heart of Toronto. Welcoming more than 350,000 visitors annually, TBG is a registered charity dedicated to connecting people to plants, fostering sustainable communities through lifelong learning, biodiversity stewardship, and inclusive public programming.
Home to 17 themed gardens and over 4,000 plant species, TBG serves as a living museum and gateway to Toronto’s ravine system. We deliver more than 325 programs each year to over 17,000 participants, including adult learning, day camps, subsidized school programs and free annual community events like Get a Jump on Spring, Plant Sales, Pride at the Garden, the Edwards Summer Music Series, the Fall Ravine Festival, and Holiday Market.
There’s always something happening at TBG, whether you’re visiting for a peaceful stroll through the gardens, attending a free outdoor concert, shopping for plants in our Garden Shop, or renting a space for a special event.
