From advances in clean technology and digital solutions to the power of diverse teams driving inclusive innovation, this year’s Forum will showcase practical pathways to transform operations, products, and partnerships for greater impact. Together, we’ll examine how courageous leadership can accelerate the pace of change — embedding sustainability into corporate strategy, investing in circular and regenerative systems, and empowering employees to take action.

Kulbir Colin Singh Dhillon

Kulbir Colin Singh Dhillon is a futurist, innovation strategist, and bestselling author who challenges organizations to lead with courage in times of transformation. As Co-Founder of the not-for-profit innovation agency, Centre for Designing Change, he advises industry, governments, and academia on building resilient, human-centred innovation ecosystems.
He was part of the leadership team behind Canada’s first all-electric vehicle prototype, demonstrating how bold cross-sector collaboration can accelerate clean technology and advanced manufacturing. Today, his work spans climate-aligned mobility, smart infrastructure, AI governance, digital manufacturing, and emerging humanoid robotics, where he is spearheading Canada’s first open-source humanoid robot initiative.
Colin is the bestselling author of The Three Houses, a book on purposeful leadership rooted in contentment, commitment, and contribution, and Soulful AI, which explores how emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence must evolve together to shape more human futures. His work bridges technological progress with ethical responsibility, ensuring innovation strengthens both competitiveness and environmental stewardship.
A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the King Charles III Coronation Medal, Colin has delivered keynotes on four continents, inspiring leaders to rethink resilience amid climate volatility and technological disruption.

Born and raised in Toronto, Heather Mak is the Principal Advisor of Heather Mak Consulting and the co-founder of the member network, Diversity in Sustainability. She has almost 20 years of experience in the private and non-profit sectors on food, retail and consumer goods sustainability issues in North America and Europe. Heather is a known connector, convenor and facilitator, and committed to building accessibility and amplifying underrepresented voices in the field of sustainability. Heather previously held sustainability roles at Deloitte, Tim Hortons, Retail Council of Canada, SustainAbility (now ERM), and Canadian Business for Social Responsibility, and holds a B.Com from McGill University and an MBA in Sustainability from Schulich School of Business. She has been featured in the Globe and Mail, Corporate Knights, Yahoo! News, GreenBiz and YES! Magazine.

Katelyn Poyntz

Katelyn started the energy team at Unity Health Toronto in 2019 – winning the 2021 (Save on Energy) Energy Manager of the Year Award. She is currently leading and evolving the organization’s Sustainability Strategy and has set an interim GHG emissions reduction target of 20% for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030. Katelyn loves to both learn and teach and finds her work both challenging and rewarding and hopes to inspire others. Katelyn has an undergrad in Systems Design Engineering with an option in Cognitive Science.

Darryl Gray

Darryl Gray is the Director of Education and Training at TRCA leading a large and diverse team of highly skilled education, museum and sustainability professionals and practitioners working to build a vital, vibrant and sustainable Greater Toronto Area.
With over 25 years of progressive leadership experience, Darryl leads transformative multi-sectoral partnerships in the areas of education, cultural heritage and sustainability. These partnerships ensure that students and schools have equitable access to nature-based, out-of-classroom learning experiences; that industry professionals are equipped with the leading-edge research and training necessary to tackle complex challenges related to urban sustainability; and that a renewed vision for The Village at Black Creek is realized through community and institutional collaboration, including a modernized funding model.
Darryl is an active community volunteer, including as a not-for-profit Board Member, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Diploma in Municipal Administration.
