Oceanic Impact is a marine conservation social enterprise dedicated to protecting our waters. Founded with a mission to educate and empower individuals to take action, Oceanic Impact aims to address conservation issues through education, community engagement, and technological innovation.

By leveraging innovative methods and tools, Oceanic Impact works across sectors towards meaningful change for both the environment and communities while adhering to accessibility, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles.
Through workshops, speaking engagements, hackathons, cleanups and other educational events, Oceanic Impact has reached over 9,400 individuals across the world. The organization designs creative, hands-on educational programs that raise awareness on important issues such as plastic pollution, sustainable seafood, climate change, and marine biodiversity.
At the core, Oceanic Impact is committed to creating systems-level change by equipping the next generation with the knowledge and tools to take action. One example is the Let’s Talk Butts campaign, which addresses cigarette butt litter which is the most ubiquitous form of litter. This initiative not only raises awareness about the toxic impact of cigarette waste on ecosystems, it also inspires actionable community solutions such as shoreline cleanups and the creation of cigarette butt cans. Having reached youths from 8 countries across continents, the project continues to scale its impact through partnerships and youth engagement.

Oceanic Impact has been recognized for its community-driven approach and its work empowering emerging conservation leaders. The organization has received several prizes and media mentions, including:
- The Peak Emerging Leaders 2025’s Social Impact Category
- Five Women-Led Impact Startups at Collision 2023
- Canadian Wildlife Magazine’s May + June 2023 Issue: An Ocean of Impact
- The International Society For Service Innovation Professionals 2023 Excellence in Service Innovation Award Program Awardees
