Our Energy Leaders Consortium (ELC) and Circular Economy Leaders Consortium (CEC) members are invited to an exciting presentation and tour of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) new Administrative Building, with a host of cutting-edge green technologies in one unique structure. This mass timber structure sets a new benchmark for sustainable design, environmentally responsible construction and workplace well-being.
The building is on track to receive multiple green building certifications including:
- LEED v4.1 Platinum
- WELL Building Standard V2 Silver
- Zero Carbon Building Design Certification
- 2023 Ontario Embodied Carbon Award for New Construction
During the tour, participants will learn about multiple sustainability features including:
- Mass timber construction
- Advanced Energy Efficiency
- Hydronic heating & cooling
- Water Walls & Solar Chimneys
- Smart Solar Shading
The tour will be followed by a networking lunch.
