On September 18, 2024, Partners in Project Green’s Circular Economy Leaders Consortium (CEC) was hosted by Sheridan College. The morning began with an engaging presentation from the Sheridan Sustainability Office highlighting Mission Zero, an institution-wide framework for sustainability initiatives. Such initiatives included, but were not limited to, reusable food ware containers, pilot bin sensors to improve the efficiency of emptying MOLOK bins on campus, the Freeuse Pop Up shops, and Repair Cafes.
The group was then taken on a tour of the Hazel McCallion campus and showed various sustainability initiatives in action.
