Recycling Collection Drive 2024- Site Registration

Partners in Project Green will be hosting the Recycling Collection Drive (RCD) this October to celebrate Waste Reduction Week and Circular Economy Month in Canada! RCD is an employee engagement campaign that collects and recycles clothing and household textiles in partnership with Diabetes Canada and Electronic Recycling Association. This year we are pleased to announce that we are piloting book recycling at select locations in partnership with Second Life Books. This year’s RCD will be held between October 14-27, 2024.

Registration for this year’s RCD ends September 9, 2024 at 5pm EST.

There are limited spots available per organization and 35 sites in total. Sites will go through an approval process, and we anticipate registration to fill up quickly. So, don’t hesitate and register now! PPG members are entitled to a discount off the registration fee, as noted in the registration form.

*Please note that one (1) pick-up at the end of the campaign is included in your registration fee. We advise that you coordinate storage for any potential overflow material over the course of the campaign. Please indicate below if you anticipate needing additional pick-ups.

Each location is eligible for one (1) free pick up at the end of the campaign. However, a $100 fee per site is required for each additional pick up of textiles, if your organization collects less than 10,000 lbs of textiles from all sites at the end of the campaign. If the collection exceeds 10,000 lbs from all sites, ten (10) free additional pick ups can be scheduled. Please indicate how many pick ups you anticipate and when.
