The City of Mississauga has teamed up with Partners in Project Green to support local business efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and advance their sustainability goals through the creation of the Mississauga Climate Leaders Program (MCLP). This new initiative is supporting pathways for local businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save energy and lower their operational costs.
Join Mississauga’s Economic Development Office on June 1st for the kick-off event of the MCLP at City Hall’s lovely C-Banquets venue!
This FREE event will kick start with opening remarks from Mayor Bonnie Crombie who will outline the City’s commitment to taking meaningful climate action and supporting the business community in transitioning to a net zero economy.
Next you will hear from a local Business Leaders Panel who will discuss initiatives and strategies they are leveraging to build a business case for climate action and sustainability. The panelist line-up is as follows:
